Kirsten prefers salty to sweet (in food and in people). She never dances in public and is totally okay with that (except for that one time, there was champagne, an 80s band and public dancing). Her only celebrity crushes are on Larry David, Jenny Lewis and Zooey Deschanel. She can't remember ever drinking eight glasses of water in one day and has yet to die of dehydration. Speaking of liquids, Kirsten is composed of 90 percent caffeine. She aspires to cook, write and have rooms full of daisies. Kirsten resides in Orange County, California with a funny looking dog and mischievious cat, who share their home with her.

Melissa was a really fat baby. As long as her tummy was full, she was a happy baby. She saw peoples’ auras, played with her pets, and kept getting rounder and rounder. Finally, around the first grade, her metabolism kicked in. Her mother was relieved.
After years of eating food, Melissa made the decision to be healthier and became a vegetarian. Over time, vegetarianism naturally evolved into an expression of compassion and peace. She had always loved tasty, healthy food, and she had always loved animals. And music. And Han Solo. And a lot of other things.

Melissa’s main vices are food and wine, whether cooking at home or relaxing in a great restaurant. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, cruelty-free meals from scratch ... and vino, all make her happier than a plump, well-fed baby.

Before Chelsea went vegan, the only cooking she ever really attempted was boiling water to make tea (and the occasional sad bowl of plain spaghetti). She couldn't care less about chocolate and dislikes cake (blasphemy, I know!), but could eat avocados until the sun comes up. Or anything fried, or involving tortilla chips and dip, for that matter. Or anything her mama cooks.
Reading books, riding bicycles, social justice activism, people-watching, hot air balloons, tattoos, squishy cheeks, cats, collecting records, booty dancing, thrift shopping, and learning languages are all things that make Chelsea swoon. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, but never stops missing the other places she has called home.
